The Princess of Wales in Familiar Styles for Christmas Day at Sandringham

The Princess of Wales in Familiar Styles for Christmas Day at Sandringham

The Wales family joined other royals for the traditional Christmas Day walk to church at Sandringham.

There was a full contingent of royal family members at St. Mary Magdalene today, led by King Charles and Queen Camilla.

St. Mary Magdalene is the parish church for Sandringham. You can see how big the crowd of well-wishers was, with loads of people lined up eager to see the royals.

Now for a quick overview of what some royal women were wearing, beginning with Queen Camilla. She wore a coat by Anna Valentine, accessorized with a Chanel handbag and boots by Russell and Bromley

The Duchess of Edinburgh was in Emilia Wickstead’s Kalonice Wrap Coatdress with Reiss boots and a Strathberry bag.

Princess Beatrice reportedly wore a coat from the Net-a-Porter for The King’s Foundation collection.

The collection is designed by students participating in the Modern Artisan education program, “designed to equip young artisans with the skills to succeed in a fast-paced digital landscape and produce luxury apparel collections to the highest standards.” More on her look from The Telegraph’s coverage

The Modern Artisan programme, run by The King’s Foundation and Net a Porter, trains emerging designers and makers to create a capsule of luxury and sustainable staples.

It follows Princess Beatrice’s visit to The King’s Foundation’s Future Textiles exhibition at the Garrison Chapel in November, where the Modern Artisan collection formed part of the display.

Princess Beatrice also wore Maje boots and a headband by Justine Bradley Hill Millinery, per Royal Fashion Police.

Zara Tindall’s coat was by The Fold, and she carried a Lalage Beaumont handbag, the Odette Mini.

And now for our look at what Kate wore today.

She was in the green Alexander McQueen coat first noted in January 2023, shown below. The tailored double-breasted design is fitted and midi-length with padded shoulders, peak lapels, button cuffs, front pocket flaps, and a defined waistline.

The Princess carried her Grace Han Love Letter Top-Handle handbag ($2970).

We saw the return of the Princess’s Gina Foster ‘Meribel’ hat, a velour-felt beret with a perky bow.

The boots were also familiar, a bespoke pair by Gianvito Rossi most similar to the Piper Block Heel style ($1995).

The Princess wore a new pair of earrings by Robinson Pelham, the jeweler’s Daystar Blue Topaz style ($7676). The design features blue topaz stones and diamonds set in 14-carat gold, with thanks to Gabi for the ID.

The Princess wore her Halcyon Days Maya Torque Aquamarine bracelet (similar bracelet here) and what looked like her Cornelia James ‘Alice’ Merino Wool gloves

Also today, a look at the Christmas card released by the Wales family this year.

The card features a frame from the video released in September by the Princess of Wales announcing she finished her chemotherapy treatments. The video was shot by Will Warr in August in Norfolk.

And here is the King’s Christmas address as shared by Sky News.

I am sending Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah wishes to all celebrating the day!

NOTE: This is a partial post; I will update it later today.
